Freo! Second trip...

What a day. Woke up early for an outing with friends. Oh i might not have mention it here yet, but we've gotten to know a nice couple, Abg Shahid & Kak Nadia and their gorgeous daughter Aishya. And we went out today all five of us, first to the Garden City, a "sort of like OU big" mall and then to Freemantle, to buy some souvenirs and had fish and chips for lunch. And hubby bought me a leather purse. Yeayy!

People, meet the little aishya. I think ive fallen in love with her.

Isnt she a beauty?

And hubby is errr, practicing?

Photos by abg shahid. I dont know if he edited all the pics, but it sure does look perfect!

And me with Kak Nadia.

Thank you so much Abg Shahid and Kak Nadia, and of course Aishya! We had a great time!

SELAMAT HARI RAYA!

SELAMAT HARI RAYA everyone!!! And Maaf zahir dan batin, from the both of us hehe...

Ive written like satu buku dah for this blog, tp tak post lagi. Nk post sekarang, rase macam pelik pulak. Later lah bila mood tengah naik, and bila ada internet access from home 24/7. Lagi best. Kat cc rase mcm sume org tgk je hehe

Update: We've moved in ppl! We got an apartment! I loooveeee it! Tapi encik hubby mcm ada sedikit menyesal sbb rent yg agak mahal, but what do u expect for something in the middle of the city kannn? Plus he compared with org2 yg rent dkt suburb. Memang laa dua kali ganda encik abang sayang... diorang ada kereta!

Tanak amik masa yg lama utk bercerita. Let the pics do the talking ye... ;)

Hey people!!!!

Hiiiii!!!

OMG i cant believe im here! I mean in blogger that is ;p
Seriously had been trying to look for an internet cafe and get a nice 1 hour time only to be spent here hihihihi so here I am.

Had been writing a lot on my laptop before i can get here. So lets see what we've got so far eyh?

13 Sept.

We landed approximately at 3pm. The weather was 17 Degrees, sejuk gila! With the wind lagi. Cepat2 pakai jacket and sweater.
At the airport, we had to go through the custom and quarantine, and that took us a nice 1 1/2 hour.
We got lucky with all the food stuff that we brought along with us, that includes Maggi, Tom Yam paste, Tandoori mix, Nasi goreng paste,
some spices and instant soups. Unfortunately cloves and soup are not allowed, so they had to quarantine it.
But i dont mind that much, as long as I have my tomyam paste and tandoori chicken mix, im good! =D And hubby's Maggi, of course.

Took a taxi to the hotel and it costs us AUD40! That equals to RM120! Thank god hubby's company will pay it back.
Got into the hotel, freshen up and took a walk down the city. Ohhhh cantik sangatttt Perth! The town's really quite and
there's not so many ppl walking around. Then we realized it was Saturday. Patut laa sunyi! Even jalan pun tak byk kereta.
Did not take any pictures on the first day. Punya lah menyesal. Next time, im going to snap, snap, and snap some more!
We walked around at Murray St Mall and Hay St Mall to look for halal food and found most of the Kebab shops' halal, so sounds good to us.
Godaan makan kat sini mmg byk. With the smell of freshly brewed coffee, sandwiches, and of course the kebabs, telan air liur je laa sampai time buka.
Since most of the halal food here are kebabs, so that was our first meal in Perth. Not so bad. Asalkan kenyang perut sudahh...

The prices for food kat sini a wee bit expensive for us, since we have to put aside around AUD2500 for our appartment rent later on.
A meal for one can go up to AUD10, and that's supposed to be cheap, I guess. Im not sure if there's any other place that's cheaper,
but if anyone can actually suggest a good makan place around Perth that wont cost too much for two pax, let me know!
Oh yeah, we had to go out for meals since we're living in a hotel, and cooking is a bit of a hassle.
Tried to cook nasi goreng on the second day for sahur, and I had to open the door to the balcony to avoid the smell and the
food went cold by the time I serve them on the plate. Sigh! (Good reason not to cook, YET! ;p)

So on Sunday, we met with the relocation agent, Carol, which Syed's company had hired to help us around. She's great!
Really friendly and helpful. She suggested a few units for us to look around, and set a viewing date on Tuesday. Price for rent here is expensive!
In the city that is. Haihhh! Dah laa tak earn any income yet, dh kena keluarkn duit. The rent is per week, unlike back home is per month.
After the meeting with Carol, me and hubby again took a nice, long walk to explore the city, and we walked up to the Northbridge.
There, we found a few asian mini markets, and i felt like home. You can even find kicap Habhal there hehe
Bought some telur, roti, beras, minyak masak, and some other cooking stuff i cant really remember what ;p
And here, we also found some Malaysian restaurants, along with Indonesian and Asian restaurants.
So on our second day, we had some nasi with lauk2 at a Singaporean hawker style shop. Lega boleh makan nasik. Nasib baik sedap! And oh yeah, some sushi for me heh heh

oh here's some pictures I took while we were wandering around the city. And of course, there's not much picture of me... =(

In the hotel room, heh heh ;p

An angel, on Sunday in the middle of a mall!

This is to Iman. He looooveeessssss fire trucks!

I dont know why, I just had to take a snap of them when we were walking down the Swan river

On the ferry to South perth

Along London Court, and as usual, my kaki bengkok!

Hubby, at Murray St mall

So yeah, I guess that's about it for now.
Have some other posts that i will post later. Its just that i dont have the pics with me yet. So take care everyone!
Going back to the hotel now, hubby will be home any minute! Yikes!

To all of you

I know some, okayyy A LOT of ppl is wondering where we're going (esp sue hehe sbb awk jauh sgt! org dkt2 sume dh tau =p) after we got married.

I may have hinted here and there (ok, byk hint sebenarnya) about something something.

So here it is, the big news.

We're moving to Perth. We dont really know when is the exact date YET because we have to wait for the Visa approval, then only we can kecoh2, packing2 and buy our flight tickets.

Why we're moving to Perth? My husband got a job there (yippee for him, and double yippee for me! haha), dont ask me how, where etc, ask him ye. I mls nk lyn ehehe Anyhow, his contract did not say when he's suppose to start work, but according to the HR manager, we only need for the Visa approval, and I guess once its approved, we can fly straight there, and for him to start work immediately. If he wants to lah kan. But obviously we'll fly straight. Takkan nk tunggu sebulan lg duduk melepak without any income kannn?

A lot of ppl has been asking "Bila nya nk pegi?". Berjuta2 kali, and seriously we DONT KNOW! So we politely answered back "Insyallah, end of this month. Kalau Visa lambat, September lah! Sempat puasa kt Msia dulu." Sopan innit? Mereka tanya banyak2 kali ni mcm tak sabar pulak nk kitorg pergi. Isk. hehe tak baik ckp mcm tu. Diorg concern agaknya, or nk schedule time nk hantar kitorg ke airport maybe?

So anyhow, hope all of you are satisfied with the short, and tak berapa detail punya explanation.
Will definately inform ASAP via sms, phone call, face-to-face, or blog, etc when we finally have the official date. But for now, we are still here, in Malaysia (KL/Terengganu) doing nothing.

And oh btw, next week finally dpt pegi honeymoon! Yeayyyyyyy!
Thank you sayang! =D
I love you the very very much!

Current Location: Kuala Terengganu

So here I am, in Terengganu, di rumah mak mertua hehe
What an experience!

Awkwardness does come once in a while, but im hanging in there. Everyone was sooooo super nice to me, and they welcome me with open arms. So tak lah rasa pelik sgt.

While I miss my family very much, Mr Hubby is being so great taking care of me eheheh (terbalik pulak), so it's nice to have someone when you're in a strange place. On top of that, I had a serious fever with ulcer in my throat, and hubby played doctor really well! Haha

Since we had the reception in Terengganu, we never had a chance to go jalan2 yet. Just ade la one or two visits to rumah sedara. Other than that, semua duduk rumah kemas2 rumah je ehehehehe

Only there's one fine day, hubby took me out for breakfast, Nasi Lemak Terengganu style (which is very diff with the nasi lemak im used to),  jalan2 kejap dkt Pasar Payang (we found nothing to bwk blk KL), then pegi "waterfront" kot (I forgot the name) yg tak jln2 pun, I ended up sitting alone tunggu hubby sambil ckp phone. Gila lain lah dating before and after kawin!

Then petang tu, hubby took me for a ride on his "motosikal". TAKUT! Bawak jln dekat ceh je, tp rase jauhhhhhhhhh! Ada a few kids tgh main bola sepak boleh gelakkn kitorg, which of course was because of me because hubby said i must've looked ridiculous naik moto duduk rapat2 peluk2. Haha! Its not like everyday I had the chance to naik moto kannnn??? Obviously laa kekok and tak reti. Nak naik turun moto pun tak reti. Agaknya mesti buruk betul scene I naik moto. Cit!

For our agenda, at the end of the week, we'll be off to KL for my cousin's wedding reception on 10 Aug. Ulang alik laa kami Terengganu-KL-Terengganu. Haih.

Counting days for convocation, and nervously waiting for the exact date to fly off. *sigh*
